Ride4fusion

We’re pleased to announce the launch of Ride4Fusion 2024, an incredible itinerant scientific outreach while travelling by bike from Padua to Cadarache to promote the future of clean energy harnessing the energy of the sun: fusion energy!

This ride, inspired by the Scholares Vagantes from the University of Padova, will cover 700  kilometres, in 9 stages, passing  through the Pianura Padana and Provence, connecting the Neutral Beam Test Facility at Consorzio RFX  in Padua to  Cadarache, where ITER the first experimental fusion reactor is being realised within an unprecedented global effort.

Ride4Fusion 2024 will start on 10th September 2024 and will be accompanied during the journey by researchers, enthusiasts and sponsors that promote and spread fusion science.

For 10 exciting days researchers, students, workers and our ever-present sponsors will share personal motivations, stories and careers, all while promoting and spreading the word about fusion science.

Join us in celebrating this great cause by following our journey, sharing our stories of preparation and progress, and adding your personal experiences of fusion.
